What do you drink with your pizza?
I stopped in at the Daily Grind today for some iced tea, and the guy told me that they are closing their doors on June 30.
Taking up residence in that space thereafter???? A pizza and coffee place.
Now, call me crazy, but that sounds like an odd combination. I do love pizza, and I also love coffee. But the two of them together? I much prefer milk with my pizza...
The guy said that pizza + coffee is apparently a hot combo in New York City. Does anyone, especially those who hail from that area of the country, have insight into that allegation? Is it really a popular thing there?
What's next? Mexican food and a hot tea bar? Ice cream and wine parlor? Breakfast and beer joint?

I don't know about pizza and coffee, but there is a pizza and bagels place in Greenwich Village...they have pizza, bagels, and bagel pizza. I assume they also serve coffee though...
